Who am I?
Hello.
I’m Chris. I’ve been an academic mentor for the last 9 plus years for adult students earning their bachelor’s degree. Before that I taught computer programming languages to graduate students. I recently completed my ICF ACC Level 1 training and am eager to utilize my multiple years of experience helping people learn about IT into an opportunity to help people learn how to improve their personal and professional growth.
All throughout my life I have found myself in the trainer/teacher role. From my first job in fast food, becoming the youngest corporate trainer for the company, to being an assistant coach for a youth (ages 7 - 18) swim team in Germany, to my time in television, creating a training process for incoming interns, to my current role mentoring adult students in how to navigate returning to college and maintaining consistent progress in their academic goals while adapting to the time constraints of work and life.
As a coach, I am here to help you think about the choices you make and the actions you take. I believe that each individual chooses how they want to live. Those choices determine which actions that person can make. Based on the actions a person takes determines the results they receive. How a person adapts to the unknown or uncontrollable is a choice. How do you react to good news? How do you react to unwanted or bad news? These are choices we all make. If you do not like the results of your current choices, let me help you figure out how to make different choices and take different actions to get different results. Nothing changes until you change it.
